What is
   MyKaroo

Want to try MyKaroo right now, without installing anything? List any URL, for any website, then click the button to see the MyKaroo content associated with that website. It's the real thing, live and up to date. You can read what other people have posted, add your own comments, search, and do everything MyKaroo does. Check it out!

How to use MyKaroo: Click here for our online documentation. Or just install it and give it a spin. Hopefully it's all pretty obvious. If not, let us know so we can make it better.

Welcome to a whole new way to see the web.

First there was Web 1.0. Back then it was just "the web". We could go to a website, and look at what they put there. We were "consumers". And there wasn't anything we could do about it.

Then came Web 2.0 (yeah I know but it's the name we're stuck with). MySpace, YouTube, LJ, blogs, and more. Where we could be part of it all. Meet people, discover cool stuff.

But that's still one step removed from the rest of the net. Wouldn't it be great if - while you're at a site - you could hang out having a side conversation talking with people who are also interested in that site?

That's what MyKaroo is all about. MyKaroo is a separate, side window that comes up when you go to any website. Any site at all. When you go to a site, the MyKaroo window automatically updates itself to show all the comments that people posted about that site. When you go to another site, the MyKaroo window updates to show the new site's comments. You can join the conversation and the site you're all talking about is right there.

Meet people who like what you like. Go to a site and see who posted about it. Post something yourself, too. It's like a blog - you can say what's on your mind.

MyKaroo is independent from the site you're looking at. It's in a separate window. MyKaroo can't change the underlying website - and the underlying website can't change anything in MyKaroo.

Welcome to the future. Welcome to MyKaroo.
