Mykaroo Announces Public Preview Release
ALBANY, Calif. (March 7, 2007) - The public preview edition of MyKaroo is now available at the product's home website, mykaroo.com. MyKaroo puts an independent blog on every website in the world. With MyKaroo installed, whenever you go to any website, its parallel MyKaroo blog appears as well, in a separate window next to the browser showing the actual website. It's an automatic process that stays in sync with your browsing. Go to another website and its blog is automatically displayed.
Users can go to any website and see what other people have posted about that site. Go to your next website and the MyKaroo window instantly updates itself to show new comments. See what people have posted, and join the conversation. It's like a blog that's always in sync with what you're looking at.
"MyKaroo is, like, totally awesome", said MyKaroo CEO Barry Smiler. "You can do anything, go to any website and say whatever feels right. That's, like, so important, you know?" Mr. Smiler also notes the independent writers who post special, extended comments at the top of some designated MyKaroo pages. "Their stuff is so funny!", he said. "They just crack me up!" The pages with these extended comical and satirical posts are listed at mykaroostuff.blogspot.com, a companion MyKaroo site specially designated for this purpose.

MyKaroo is a free, independent, fully opt-in system that gives every website in the world a blog page that comes up while you're viewing that site. But MyKaroo is completely independent of that site's management, so the MyKaroo blog isn't under their control. You can post anything you want.
